“Is not true that is there only one way to make things”

There are several, or at least two: one right, and one wrong.

In truth, we are convinced that reality is much more complex than this simple vision, and that for this reason it is necessary to analyze it, to understand the consequences of what we do.

We define ourselves as “custodians” of the immense heritage we have, and therefore, as such, it is natural to approach our business not only for what it is in itself, but in the context in which we operate.

“Sustainability” is therefore a word that has taken on more and more weight in our daily lives, in a natural process that made us reflect on HOW to deal with the economic, social and environmental context in which we operate, so that not only the result of our activities, our wines, are always included in a process of continuous improvement, but also that the effect of what we do to achieve this goal has an increasingly sustainable impact, to the benefit of all.

Small or large interventions, attentions, procedures that therefore have the purpose of defending our values even more …. small drops, which together with others, can form a sea or who knows, tomorrow, perhaps an ocean of virtuous behavior.

Pratically we therefore have:

Installed a photovoltaic system, which thus allows us to power the company in a green way, and to save important CO2 emissions, by feeding any surplus produced into the public network, to the benefit of all;
Stipulated a supply contract which envisages, in the event of further needs, the supply of energy that comes only from other renewable sources;
Replaced the cellar waste management system, in order to purify the water used in the processing in order to be able to reuse it for different purposes and without further filtering;
Purchased a running water filtering system that we use in the company for employees, collaborators and for tastings, thus completely eliminating plastic or any transport by road of water in glass
A collaboration has started for the recycling of all the glass used in the company, thanks to a company that, thanks to special machinery, is able to remove the labels and "regenerate" our bottles, which we then reuse in subsequent bottling, reducing the 'use of water and energy that would be necessary to produce new ones
Purchased a new tracked vehicle, in order not only to renew the fleet, but also to reduce CO2 emissions thanks to lower consumption and environmental impact;
Purchased a new latest generation atomizer, to reduce the use of water during treatments, equipped with anti-drift systems, so as to optimize the use and effectiveness of the treatments;
Adopted systems and practices in the countryside, such as the use of only organic-based fertilizers, the elimination of chemical weeding, replaced by the mechanical one, the choice of products and pesticides with the least impact on the environment, in order to guarantee health of the grapes, but at the same time minimizing the impact on health not only of people but also of the environment in which we work.

Since 2023 we have achieved the certification of the “National Integrated Production Quality System” (SQNPI), which certifies that our vineyards and our wines respect the environment and health even more, through all the standards required by this protocol.
